William Eleuterio Black is a cartoonist, who for the first time, at 40 years old, has achieved to publish a strip called Palurdeando.
He is anxious, asocial and a bit depressive. Because of this he is always worried that one day he will simply run out of ideas and he will not be able to continue drawing. At the end, one way or another he

He is anxious, asocial and a bit depressive. Because of this he is always worried that one day he will simply run out of ideas and he will not be able to continue drawing. At the end, one way or another he manages and comes out ahead. He lives with his family in a house that has belonged to the Blacks for several generations.
His favorite place in the entire house is, without a doubt, the Tower of Melancholy (his Art Studio).

Z, also called "Little Bean" by her father (Willy Black), is the teenager of the family.
She has lived full-time at the Blacks' house since her mother had to travel abroad for work. Unlike her father, Z is sociable and is constantly discovering herself.
Paradoxically, she studies at a religious high school (Saint-Guillaume H.S.), while Willy is a confirmed atheist.

A is Willy's wife (or Willy is A's husband, whatever, it's not in a possessive meaning). If she and Willy were a brain, she would be the left hemisphere.
